Who can post projects on AggieBuilds?

Any UC Davis student, alumni, or club can create an account and showcase their projects.

Is AggieBuilds only for software projects?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! AggieBuilds is for anything made by UC Davis students. Not just software. You can share (and are not limited to): Figma designs, Research papers, Slide decks, Hardware builds, Class projects, Hackathon submissions, Startup ideas / MVPs.

Do my projects need to be open-source to post them?

No! You can post live products, closed-source tools, or anything you've built. Your code does not have to be public to showcase it on AggieBuilds.

Question 5

Can UC Davis alumni post projects on AggieBuilds?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Alumni are welcome to post projects. Since you may no longer have access to your UC Davis email, just create an account using your personal email and then email us at hello@aggiebuilds.com from that same address. In your email, let us know that you're an alumnus and would like to be verified. Please include any simple proof of your UC Davis affiliation (e.g., graduation photo, screenshot of your diploma, student ID, etc.). Once verified, you'll have full access just like current students.

How do I add my club to AggieBuilds?

Accepted Answer

First, create an account. We recommend using your personal email so you keep access after graduation. Once you're signed in, verify your UC Davis email to unlock full access. After verification, open the menu by clicking your profile picture, and you'll see a 'Create a Club Page' option. From there, you can set up your club profile and start adding projects.
